Land Rover had earlier opened bookings for the Range Rover Velar in India. The new Range Rover Velar is available in Dynamic HSE with two powertrain options. In this, the 2.0-liter petrol engine gives 246 bhp power and 365 Nm torque and the 2.0-liter Ingenium diesel engine generates 201 bhp power and 420 Nm torque. The carmaker has not announced its prices yet. However, speculations are being made that its cost can be more than one crore rupees.

The Range Rover Velar is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine, which generates 201bhp power and 430Nm torque. Second, it has a 2.0-litre petrol engine, which produces 296bhp power and 400Nm torque. It is mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox with the brand’s Terrain Response 2 system. This SUV can reach the speed of 0 to 100 kmph in 7.5 seconds.

The SUV gets an 11.4-inch unit for infotainment, which is curved and integrated into the dashboard. The feature of noise cancellation has also been given in Range Rover Velar, which adds to its luxury. This reduces external noise and makes the cabin even quieter. It also gets wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as a wireless charger. The SUV also gets an air fication system, which comes with PM 2.5 filtration as well as CO2 management.
