Meanwhile, information has been given by the Prime Minister’s Office that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate various development projects including the release of the 14th installment of about Rs 17,000 crore under the PM-Kisan scheme in Sikar, Rajasthan.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Rajasthan and Gujarat on July 27 and 28 and during this time will dedicate one lakh PM Kisan Samridhi Kendra (PMKSK) to the nation and will also release the 14th installment of about Rs 17,000 crore under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan). According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), during his visit, Modi will inaugurate five new medical colleges and six Eklavya Model Residential Schools in Rajasthan and a new international airport in Rajkot, his home state of Gujarat, as well as development projects worth over Rs 860 crore.

The PMO said that the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of various development projects and dedicate them to the nation on July 27 at around 11:15 am in Sikar, Rajasthan, at a public function. After this, he will reach Rajkot in Gujarat, where the Prime Minister will visit the Rajkot International Airport at around 3.15 pm. At around 4.15 pm, the Prime Minister will inaugurate various development projects at the Race Course ground in Rajkot. The next day at around 10:30 am, he will inaugurate the Semicon India 2023 at the Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar.

PM Modi will dedicate one lakh PM Kisan Samridhi Kendra to the nation

The PMO said that on the first day of his visit, the Prime Minister will dedicate one lakh PM Kisan Samridhi Kendra (PMKSK) to the nation in Sikar, Rajasthan, as a significant step to benefit farmers. The PMO said that PMKSKs are being developed to provide one stop solution for the needs of all farmers. Testing facilities ranging from fertilizers, seeds, equipment and soil will be provided at these centres. Along with this, information about various government schemes will also be made available. On this occasion, the Prime Minister will also launch the Urea Gold Scheme. Urea Gold is a new variety of urea which is sulfur coated and its introduction will remove the sulfur deficiency in the soil.

FPO Onboarding Begins

The PMO said that this innovative fertilizer is more economical and efficient than neem-coated urea. It improves nitrogen use efficiency in plants, reduces fertilizer consumption and enhances crop quality. During the event, the Prime Minister will launch the onboarding of 1,500 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) on the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC). ONDC empowers FPOs with direct access to digital marketing, online payments, business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer transactions.

The amount of the 14th installment of PM-Kisan will be released

The PMO said that in a move setting another example of the Prime Minister’s commitment towards the welfare of farmers, the Prime Minister will release the 14th installment amounting to about Rs 17,000 crore under PM-KISAN to over 8.5 crore beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer. Apart from this, the Prime Minister will inaugurate five new medical colleges at Chittorgarh, Dhaulpur, Sirohi, Sikar and Sriganganagar and lay the foundation stone of seven medical colleges at Baran, Bundi, Karauli, Jhunjhunu, Sawai Madhopur, Jaisalmer and Tonk.

Foundation stone of seven medical colleges

The total cost of the medical colleges that the Prime Minister will inaugurate is Rs 1,400 crore, while the seven medical colleges for which he will lay the foundation stone will be built at a cost of Rs 2,275 crore. The PMO said that till the year 2014, there were only 10 medical colleges in Rajasthan. This number has increased to 35 through the dedicated efforts of the Central Government. The PMO said that with the establishment of these 12 new medical colleges, the number of MBBS seats in the state will increase from 1750 seats in 2013-14 to 6275.

Inauguration of Eklavya Model Residential Schools

In addition, the Prime Minister will inaugurate six Eklavya Model Residential Schools located in the districts of Udaipur, Banswara, Pratapgarh and Dungarpur, which will benefit the tribal population living in these districts. During this program, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate a Kendriya Vidyalaya in Jodhpur. The Prime Minister will inaugurate a new international airport in Rajkot, Gujarat. This greenfield airport has been developed over a total land area of ​​over 2,500 acres and at a cost of over Rs 1400 crore. On this occasion, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate development projects worth more than Rs 860 crore.

Inauguration of SEMCON India 2023

The Prime Minister will inaugurate SEMICON India 2023 on 28 July at the Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar. He will also address the gathering on this occasion. Representatives of major companies like Micron Technology, Applied Materials, Foxconn, Semi, Cadence, AMD will participate in SemiconIndia 2023.
