Gadar 2 crossed the Rs 500 crore mark at the domestic box office in its fourth week. However, as soon as Shahrukh Khan’s film Jawan reached theatres, Gadar 2 saw a decline in its numbers.
On its 33rd day, Gadar 2 recorded the lowest numbers in so many days. According to Sacnilk.com report, Gadar 2 earned around Rs 0.50 crore at the box office on its 33rd day.
Jawan’s craze has engulfed the film and its impact has been seen on the numbers. However, Gadar 2 remained extremely strong at the box office for four glorious weeks and the film has earned enough to enter the list of biggest box office successes.
With the 33rd day figures, the total collection of Gadar 2 is now around Rs 516.08 crore. Talking about Shahrukh Khan’s film Jawan, it is performing very well at the box office.
Starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel as Tara Singh and Sakina, Gadar 2 is the story of a man who crosses the border to save his son.
In Part 1, Tara Singh crossed the border to reunite with his wife Sakina, while in Part 2, his son dragged him to Pakistan as soon as he was alive. The character of Jeete is played by Utkarsh Sharma.
Gadar 2 released on 11 August and received good profits during the Independence Day holidays. It clashed with Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 which also starred Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam and others.
