Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Jawaan’ is moving towards another milestone. This film, released on September 7, is approaching the Rs 350 crore club in India.
This action-thriller directed by Atlee also crossed the Rs 600 crore mark worldwide within a week. This film has broken almost all the early records of Hindi origin films.
‘Jawaan’ is a box office winner. On the first day, the film earned Rs 74.50 crore in all languages in India. The film witnessed the biggest opening day in the history of Hindi cinema by earning Rs 129.06 crore worldwide.
According to trade reports, on the 6th day i.e. 12th September, ‘Jawaan’ earned a net worth of Rs 26.50 crore in India. Thus, the total collection in India now stands at Rs 345.58 crore.
Meanwhile, on September 11, the overall occupancy of ‘Jawaan’ was 26.28 percent. Shahrukh’s film has become the fastest film to enter the Rs 300 crore club (Net BOC Hindi), surpassing ‘Gadar 2’ and ‘Pathan’.
At the same time, according to trade expert Ramesh Bala, ‘Jawaan’ has already crossed the Rs 600 crore mark at the box office globally.
‘Javaan’ releases in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu in theaters worldwide on September 7, 2023. Directed by Atlee, the film stars Shah Rukh Khan along with Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra and Priyamani. Deepika Padukone is seen in an extended cameo.
Directed by Atlee, Jawan is the story of a man named Azad, who is bound to bring about a change in the society. After that his father Vikram Rathod also joins him in this mission.
Both the characters have been played by Shahrukh Khan. Nayanthara plays the role of a cop, while Vijay Sethupathi is the dangerous villain.
The film was shot in Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Rajasthan and Aurangabad. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music for the film and marked his debut as a solo composer in Bollywood.
