Kuldeep becomes the second player to take five wickets against Pakistan in Asia Cup, equals Arshad after 35 years

Indian team’s spinner Kuldeep Yadav defeated Pakistan’s batsmen in the Super 4 match of Asia Cup 2023. This is India’s biggest win against Pakistan in ODI cricket. In this match, the Indian team scored a mountain-like score of 356 runs with the help of centuries from Virat Kohli and KL Rahul. After this the Indian bowlers worsened the condition of the Pakistani batsmen. During the entire innings, Pakistani batsmen were seen struggling on the field. During the match on Monday, Kuldeep Yadav has equaled many bowlers of the Indian team by taking five wickets in ODI. He has become the sixth Indian to take five wickets in ODIs. In the match held on Tuesday, Kuldeep Yadav took 4 wickets for 43 runs in 9.3 overs. A lot of changes are being seen in his bowling.

Kuldeep Yadav has become the second player to take five wickets against Pakistan in the ODI Asia Cup. Earlier, this feat was done by India’s right-arm off spin bowler Arshad Ayub against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 1988. Arshad Ayub took 5 wickets for 21 runs in 9 overs. After 35 years, Kuldeep Yadav has achieved this milestone by taking 5 wickets in the ODI Asia Cup against Pakistan and he has become the second Indian player to do so.
