Tata Motors will introduce Nexon in six new variants

The news is also that Tata Motors Is going to introduce its much awaited model Nexon in six new variants. Now it will be sold by the automaker in Smart, Smart Plus, Pure Plus, Creative Plus, Fearless and Fearless Plus variants. Smart and Fearless trim names are new, while Pure and Creative names are already being used for punch.

Engine of Tata Nexon facelift compact SUV

The compact SUV will continue to come with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine generates maximum power of 118 bhp and peak torque of 170 Nm. It is mated to a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual or the new 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The diesel engine produces 113 bhp of maximum power and 260 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox or 6-speed AMT.

Motor and battery of Tata Nexon EV facelift

A lot of changes have been made in the exterior and interior of Nexon EV and Nexon. The exterior is largely inspired by the Curve concept. The compact SUV now has a split headlamp setup with turn indicators and light bar at the top and the main headlamp unit located in the lower bumper. Additionally, the Nexon EV features a lightbar at the front and rear. It is also expected that the price of Nexon will start from around Rs 7.50 lakh and go up to Rs 15 lakh.
