While all three EVs were largely hidden in the video, they did give a glimpse of their design language, which was quite similar to their concept counterparts. Of these three, the XUV.e8 stands as the pioneer, representing the electric transformation of the popular XUV700. It is expected to start by the end of 2024.

Adding to the excitement is the XUV.E9, a sleek and stylish coupe version of the XUV.E8. Set to hit the market in April 2025, this electric SUV marks Mahindra’s venture into the coupe segment. As far as the BE.05 is concerned, it is in its final stages of development and claims to be production ready. With a distinctive design featuring a glass roof, sculpted bonnet and a roof-mounted split spoiler, it promises to turn heads when it finally hits the roads.

Speedometer read 200 kmph

The teaser video not only introduced these electric wonders but also showcased their power on Mahindra’s test track. The highlight of the performance was undoubtedly the jaw-dropping top-speed run in which all three EVs flashed through the track, with the speedometer registering an impressive top speed of 200 kmph. The speed demonstration was recorded at Mahindra’s state-of-the-art testing ground in Chennai, emphasizing the vehicles’ capabilities and performance.
