The craze for Shahrukh Khan and Nayanthara starrer action film Jawan still continues among the audience. There are long lines in theaters to watch movies.
Jawan continues to grow and rule the domestic box office. After dominating the box office in the first week, the film once again gained momentum in the second weekend.
According to the report of industry tracker Saknilak, Jawan earned around Rs 35 crore at the box office on its second Sunday.
After which the total collection of the film directed by Atlee in India has become 475.78 crores. Considering its pace, it would not be surprising if the film touches the Rs 500 crore mark in the third week.
Let us tell you that Jawan did a business of Rs 31 crore on his second Saturday. The worldwide movie has crossed the gross figure of Rs 700 crore.
There was 47% occupancy in theaters for the film Jawan on Sunday. In the evening and afternoon shows, 60 percent of the audience had come to see the soldier.
Shahrukh Khan’s Jawan became the first Hindi film to enter the Rs 400 crore club fastest. It has broken the records of movies like Pathan, Gadar 2, Bahubali, KGF 2.
Jawan has been directed by Atlee. In this, Shahrukh Khan is in multiple roles along with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. Apart from her, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak and Alia Qureshi starred as the six girls on Shahrukh’s team.
Riddhi Dogra, Sunil Grover, Mukesh Chhabra, Yogi Babu and Ejaz Khan were seen in supporting roles. Actors Sanjay Dutt and Deepika Padukone were seen in cameo roles in the film.
Talking about the success of Jawan, Shahrukh said, ‘It is very rare that we get such an opportunity to live so many years with one film. The jawan has been with us for four years due to Covid and lack of time. We are thankful to the audience that they liked the film.
