Indian captain after breaking Chris Gayle’s record of most sixes in international cricket Rohit Sharma Said that he has taken inspiration from ‘Universal Boss’ himself in this journey. In the World Cup match against Afghanistan at Ferozshah Kotla ground, Rohit scored 131 runs in 81 balls. He hit five sixes and completed 556 sixes in all three formats, which is three more than Gayle. Rohit touched this figure in 453 matches, which is 30 matches less than Gayle.
Rohit said- Universal Boss is Universal Boss
Rohit said in the video posted by BCCI, Universal Boss is Universal Boss. I have taken inspiration from him only. Over the years we have seen that he is a six-hitting machine. He said, he also wears the same jersey (number 45). I am sure he will be happy because jersey number 45 is the world record in his name.

Rohit Sharma never thought that he would become Sixer King.
Rohit said that it took a lot of hard work to acquire the ability to hit sixes. He said, when I started playing, I never thought that I would be able to hit sixes. A lot of hard work has been put into this and I am happy that it paid off. He said, I am never satisfied and I want to maintain this rhythm. My focus is on that. This is a small moment of happiness for me. He said, this is the World Cup whose format is different. Nine league matches, semi-finals and then the final. It is important for us to make strategy match by match.
