
Kawasaki has a 451 cc parallel-twin engine in the Ninja 7 HEV Hybrid which generates 48 bhp power and 44 Newton meter torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Apart from the engine, the bike also has a 48V lithium-ion battery pack that powers a 9kW traction motor. This motor generates power of 12 BHP and torque of 20 Newton meters. It is believed that it can give a mileage of 70 kilometers to 75 kilometers per liter.
The top speed of Kawasaki Ninja 7 Hybrid is 200 kilometers per hour and it can accelerate from 0-100 kilometers per hour in 3.9 seconds.

The bike has three riding modes: EV, Eco Hybrid and Sports Hybrid. In EV mode, the bike runs only on battery. In Eco Hybrid mode, both the engine and battery work, but the engine is run more efficiently. In Sports Hybrid mode, both the engine and battery provide more power.

Ninja 7 HEV has been unveiled globally. However, it is not known when the motorcycle will be launched in India. The price of Kawasaki Ninja 7 Hybrid starts from 12,000 Euro (approximately Rs 10.6 lakh) in Europe.
