Ginger has many benefits in winter season

Most people start their morning with tea. Ginger tea is everyone’s favorite in winter. The elders in the house prefer ginger tea. The reason is that ginger has anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-oxidant properties and it is very useful in relieving gas, indigestion and headache. Consuming it in the form of tea is very beneficial in many other minor problems also.

Cough is a very common problem in the winter season. To get relief from this, cut ginger into small pieces and grind them. Now put them in a cup of water and boil for 10 minutes. Consume it three times a day. This will also cure sore throat and blocked nose.

Ginger tea also provides relief to a great extent from chest congestion in winter, hence drinking ginger tea is very beneficial in case of allergy or cold.

To avoid cough, pour ghee on a pan and fry a piece of ginger in it and keep it in the mouth for two hours. This will provide relief in cough.

If you face problems like vomiting or nervousness during travel, then drink a cup of ginger tea before the journey. This won’t be a problem. Ginger tea helps in improving digestion. You can drink it anytime of the day.
