According to media reports, Himalayan 450 is expected to have advanced features with a powerful engine. The company introduced Himalayan for the first time in the year 2016. After this, it has launched many updated versions of it in the market. The buzz is that the Himalayan 450 motorcycle will be significantly updated from Royal Enfield’s older Himalayan 411. The new Himalayan 450 is all set to replace the Himalayan 411 with a new platform. Its design is quite developed. However, Royal Enfield says that no part has been taken from the old model. It is brand new in every sense. The new Himalayan looks very big.

According to media reports, when the Himalayan 450 comes on sale in the market, it will replace the existing Himalayan 411. Himalayan 411 is in the market since 2016. However, no further information has been given by the company on this. If customers want to buy a 411 cc Royal Enfield bike, then they also get the option of Scream 411.

What will be special in Himalayan 450

Motorcycle manufacturing company Royal Enfield has made many major changes in the Himalayan 450. Due to this, this bike looks completely different from the previous model. The teaser picture released by the company shows a white colored motorcycle, which is reminiscent of the Himalayan launched in 2016. The new adventure motorcycle has Himalayan branding on the front mudguard. At the same time, graphics of Himalayan will be visible in the fuel tank, side panel and rear fender. Ride by wire technology has been provided in the motorcycle. Now it will come with a digital instrument console with smartphone connectivity. It will be equipped with all LED lighting system. The curb weight of the bike will be around 196 kg while its gross weight is 394 kg. The bike will be about 45 mm longer than the old model.

Himalayan 450 design

Talking about the design of Royal Enfield’s Himalayan 450, it has a beak fender, high set LED lamp, large fuel tank and petite tail section with slipped seats. Along with this, 21 inch and 17 inch wheels are provided at the front and rear with wire spoke wheels respectively. There is a possibility of some more features being included in this motorcycle for offroad riding. The design of the fuel tank of this motor has also been changed and it has been made bigger than before. It is believed that with this the range of the motorcycle will also increase. If we talk about its front tyre, it is 21 inches and rear is 17 inches, which makes it a perfect off-roader. There are round LEDs to enhance the design of the motorcycle. The pointed fenders, large windscreen, split seats and compact tail section enhance its looks.

Himalayan 450 engine

Although, no official information has been given by Royal Enfield regarding the engine of Himalayan 450, but based on the leaked document, it is being said in the media reports that this motorcycle will have a liquid cooled engine with a capacity of 451.65 cc. Can be used, which will have the capacity to generate power of 39.45 BHP. The length of this motorcycle will be about 2245 mm, width will be about 852 mm and height will be about 1315 mm, which will be much more than its older model. A wheelbase of 1510 mm can be seen in it. Its weight can be up to 394 kg.

Himalayan 450 price

However, Royal Enfield has not yet made any official announcement about the price of Himalayan 450, but it is estimated that its price in ex-showroom could be around Rs 2.80 lakh to Rs 3.10 lakh. In the market, Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 will compete with KTM 390 Adventure, BMW G 310 GS and Yezdi Adventure. It is being said that this motorcycle can be launched in the Indian market on November 7.
