So, it is important for the candidates to register themselves by filling the required details. Details like filling the choice of colleges and courses in order of priority.
Step 2: Trial Allotment
After participating in the seat allotment process the authority will conduct the test allotment. As per the allotment, the authority gets an idea about the probable colleges and courses that the students will get on the allotment. It does not guarantee allotment to the candidates in the respective college and courses.
Step 3: Schedule of Allotment
The concerned authority will announce the allotment schedule in the official site of KEAM. To check seat allotment details, candidates need to log in to their account. Thereafter, candidates have to download their allotment memorandum which shows the name of the college and courses if seats are allotted to the candidates. Candidates have to download the seat allotment memo and take a print out of it.
Step 4: Payment of Fee / Remittance of Fee
The candidates who are allotted seats will have to pay the fee for the college and course. This candidates have to do within the given time otherwise they will lose their allotment. Fee can be paid in online mode or can be paid to CEE account at designated branches of SBI as notified by the authorities. Keep the fee receipt issued by the bank properly or take a print out of the online payment.
Students must note that if they are not allotted seats in the first round and get allotment in the second round, they will have to pay the fee for the allotted course. Suppose seats are allotted in both the rounds and the latter is different from the former for which the difference in fee is more, the candidate has to pay. The same amount will be mentioned in the allotment memo of the candidate.
Step 5: Admission
After the allotment of seats and the students who have paid the fees, they will have to take admission in the allotted college. If one does not take admission he/she loses the chance of admission with existing options in the course to which the allotment belongs
Note: Once the option is lost, it will not be available in subsequent steps.
Step 6 Confirmation of Online Option to Participate in Subsequent Stages of Allotment
Candidates who wish to participate in the second or further allotment will have to login to their option page and confirm the choice by clicking on the “Confirm” button. Unwanted choices can be removed and after online choice, confirmation candidates can change the preference of existing choices. Confirmation of online option is mandatory for each allotment stage.
Step 7: Publish Rank Details
After the seat allotment, the authority releases the final rank details of that particular allotment. The published rank is the rank of the candidate and not his/her position in the category list.
Step 8: Spot Allocation
