Twins: Meaning of Being: Episode 19
A quick recap: Kunj defends Twinkle against Usha and her aunt, before she goes to meet Yuvi, with whom she has a heartfelt conversation. However, when he suggests her and Kunj’s idea, she decides to return the next morning, and both do their make-up.
“Hi Aditi!” Twinkle greeted happily, keeping her voice high enough to announce her arrival at the bride’s quarters. He heard Aditi muttering something, and followed the voice to find her on the dressing table. “Have I already said you look gorgeous?” Twinkle said in the dream, though she knew she had already said it, alone at least a dozen times since that morning. Aditi laughed at him and turned to him, casually dropping the necklace she was trying on on the table. “Thanks, Twinkle.” She said nonetheless, and Twinkle could only admire how bright and positive everything was about Aditi. always had been.
“Yuvi – your future husband I mean, asked me to come visit you. I guess it was something urgent?” Twinkle raised the subject carefully. She was confused about it ever since Yuvi ordered it, and couldn’t hold back her curiosity anymore. Was he turned into a messenger owl by the love birds? Aditi smiles widely at the mention, trying her best to fight off the blush that makes her presence felt with Yuvi being referred as such. “Yuvi and I have something for you!” He explained excitedly and she picked up a brown package from the bed and handed it to Twinkle.
Twinkle looked intently for a full minute before opening Aditi. “We really hope you like this dress and wear it to the wedding!” Aditi said that when Twinkle raised her eyes with the clothes in her hands to see Aditi. “But-” Twinkle’s argument was replaced by Aditi’s “No excuse, please! Unless you liked it, that is.” She waited a moment for Twinkle to say so, but she already knew that Twinkle Likes the dress.” For him, although it was really mine and Yuvi’s idea, he went to buy it himself because you know – the bride and groom shouldn’t do this or that. But we really want to give you a small token of our love and gratitude for all you have done for us, so please consider my request? Aditi continued, relieved when a beautiful smile appeared on Twinkle’s face.
“I won’t refuse you, Aditi! You are the bride after all. Your big day! I certainly could have done so much for you and Yuvi!” Twinkle said softly, her smile still shining. “Also, since it’s in my favorite color.” She said in a whisper, but Aditi listened to her. “What’s happening now? That’s great! Yuvi probably knew.” Aditi thought aloud, shrugging her shoulders. “no he has not.” Twinkle said, now wondering how Yuvi could have chosen that exact shade by chance. Aditi still looked confused, knowing full well that it was a really rare color and didn’t seem to like the situation.
Just as Aditi was thinking of asking Twinkle if Kunj knew about her choice of colors, as Kunj had to go with Yuvi to buy Twinkle’s dress, she heard the door open and went inside. And the lady Twinkle had never seen before. “Aditi, you should leave that brooch on for now, I can’t find it! I’m sorry.” said the woman, and Aditi sighed, apparently struggling with a smile. “Who is this?” He asked, flashing a warm smile in Twinkle’s direction. “Oh, I forgot the two of you never met! Twinkle, it’s Mama.” Aditi said quickly, appreciating the change of subject. Twinkle greets Aditi’s mother, whom she had already heard enough about but never met because she was away, only another equally good smile and a “Twinkle…? A kunz and you late last night.” Were talking on the phone when I had to force you to sleep?”
(Join the dots guys!! Have we seen anything in the last episode that might have something to do with it? Okay, that’s all the clues you’ve got :P)
Twinkle’s eyes flickered between the two women alternately and Aditi looked annoyed at her mother, trying to think of a credible explanation. “Oh my god, mama! You made that sound so bad! Kunj was just telling me how well you handled all the work here, Twinkle.” Aditi said as soon as the thought came to her mind. Twinkle took one last look at the two before nodding her head. “You should change that quickly, right here. Please? I can’t wait to see how well it will look on you!” quipped Aditi, pointing to the package in Twinkle’s arms. The latter accepted without any argument, knowing that the issue But it was probably best to avoid further discussion.
Aditi holds her mother’s arm when she is convinced that Twinkle has locked the door of the dressing room. “Mama!” She screamed in a whisper, causing her mother to surrender. “I didn’t know I shouldn’t have said that!” She whispered back, adding as a thought, “I thought she already knew!” Aditi laughs a little at this, realizing how candid her conversation with Kunj would have been if her mother had caught on so soon. “She’ll know when the time is right. I trust Yuvi on this one. But momma, when did you start enjoying gossip? What happened to you?” Aditi started in a low voice, but ended with a cheerful chirping.
“Stop. There’s nothing wrong with me! But there’s something wrong with you, Aditi! You’re marrying Luthra, the crown prince of all people? Isn’t he the same man you used to be angry with all the time when you were here new?” The old woman pointed, clearly teasing. Aditi closed her eyes and said, “It’s been a long time, Mama. Absolutely everything has changed since then!” She smiled seeing her mother laughing at him. “Apparently that’s an easy jump for you, huh?” His mother asked, helping him with the veil. “For me, it was. Although not for Yuvi. He had to try for two whole years to make sure I could even say a complete sentence that wasn’t part of an argument with him!” Aditi reminisced, both were smiling with love in the memories.
“Poor child, that one.” He heard his mother’s comment and shook his head violently. “That’s an easier jump for you, isn’t it, Mama? Look at yourself – in a second I’m changing sides of Yuvi!” He complained, pretending to melt when his mother dropped a loving peck on his forehead. “Of course, my son-in-law is a gem! But on a serious note, Aditi, you have to remember that here, you are both on the same side no matter who is on the other side. I know you have been together for a long time, but marriage will be different. Difficult at some points. It is who you are marrying that will make it worth it. “
Twinkle didn’t mean to listen to that conversation, but she was just 30 feet away and had heard everything, including the initial suppressed arguments. He sighed, his mind beckoning him to remember the days when he shared an equally beautiful bond with his mother, until she returned to the present, when after that fateful night. Logic flashed before his eyes. She wished to give herself her best smile and step into the room, where both mother and daughter were more than happy to see her, so how would things have been if they had been her own mother and sister – she couldn’t help wondering. .
She had just descended and was looking for Maya to make sure there were no problems with her work when she saw Kunj. She felt a wave of confused feelings running through her, the despair she had herself, Yuvi’s hope spoke of the previous night, after that things only seemed to spiral. Despite all this, she shook her hand, unwilling to come across as rude. At least so far.
Kunj hoped that he was not impressed by the way he had seen it. She looked genuine in the salwar suit she had chosen, and suddenly she didn’t know what to do with hers. Twinkle, on the other hand, thought it was strange and decided to ask her immediately. He only started panicking when he started walking in her way. “Calm down, damn it! She’ll definitely think you’re a weirdo Kunj Sarna! So much for not acting in love for so long!” She managed a nice smile, she told herself, for as long as she could get it. “Hello!” she said, and she blinked again, thinking she might have to do a little makeup by Aditi. Was forced, and put him in danger if he didn’t pull it off so well!
“Hi dress! She looks cute Twinkle on you!” When he gave her a scrutinizing look for her silence, it blurred, and this confused her further. “I guess that’s one way to compliment people. Thanks, Kunj!” When he understood her complicated sentences, he said with a laugh. He closed his eyes in embarrassment, which made him laugh a few more. And stare at her with love some more. “Okay! I think the dress looks lovely on you, Twinkle. Better?” He corrected himself in a very real way, which made Twinkle somewhat suspicious. “I guess it had something to do with you making the choice?” he asked, and he looked amazed. “You’ve got me! How did you know though? Magic?” she asked, not even trying to hide the surprise she felt. “A good magician never tells his tricks.” she said, before thanking him again for the dress and walking away.
Once the ceremonies started, none of them had any free time at all, and Twinkle found herself mostly running around between the bride and groom’s quarters. She just stood and took a deep breath when she saw Aditi taking her seat next to Yuvi in the mandap later, she got a strange sense of belonging and calmness about how well everything had gone. She smiled at Kunj teasing the couple which she still couldn’t hear, but their expressions made everything clear. Maybe that was what he loved so much about weddings – there was so much joy everywhere, it always made him feel so much better. But then, she hadn’t attended any weddings for over two years, and it was her best friend’s wedding, so it was bound to feel even more special.
“They’re so cute, aren’t they?” He heard the sound of Kunj beside him and saw Yuvi and Aditi, which made him jump. He had not seen her leaving Yuvi’s side and going there at all. “Diya aur baati hum. Absolutely meant to be!” he replied. Before any of them could say anything, Kunj was pushed against him by a loud group of people, who turned out to be only Kunj and Yuvi’s friend. Kunj was very excited to see him. However, he allowed Twinkle and Kunj to spend a moment that felt like an eternity to them, so close to each other that Kunj was worried that he could hear her beating heart. Leggy. Neither moved at all at first, each surprised each other. But then Kunj was pulled over by his friends, and Twinkle breathed out that she didn’t even know he was in. She had to behave normal in front of him had to learn to do!
“Twinkle, isn’t it?” She heard a voice from the other side after a while, and she turned to look at an apparently rich girl, almost as old as her, looking at him unacceptably. “Yes.” He replied, feeling unsure of himself. The woman threatened him for some reason she didn’t know. still. “In charge of the food?” the stranger asked. This time Twinkle simply nodded, thinking it was a food complaint. “And you think you stand a chance with Kunj Sarna?” Twinkle now turned completely to face her, looking at her uncomfortably. “Do you think waving from across the room and trying to seduce her went completely unnoticed? I’m his fiancée Tanisha. Usha Sarna I approve, which she doesn’t do to you. Do you want to keep you away? Isn’t that enough?” said the woman. Twinkle’s eyes widened as she tried to process the information she had just heard.
That’s all for now guys. do you all still hate me? I know, this last bit was completely unexpected and caused a lot of frustration! Tell me how you like at least the rest of the episode, please? Looking forward to hearing from you all. Lots of love!!
