How is the conversion of religion done in other states of the country?
There are already laws regarding voluntary conversion of religion in 8 states of the country. These states are Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh and Jharkhand.
In the law applicable in these states, there are provisions like giving information to the collector before conversion, giving an affidavit related to voluntary conversion.
