Jammu: The BJP has targeted Mehbooba Mufti just before the meeting of leaders of Jammu and Kashmir with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi on Thursday. Jammu and Kashmir BJP President Ravindra Raina said that talks with Pakistan can be possible only when Pakistan closes all the terror camps operating in it. Significantly, Mehbooba Mufti had said that the government should talk to Pakistan on the Kashmir issue.
To decide the political future of Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Modi has called a meeting of political parties of the state on June 24 in Delhi. To participate in this meeting, three big BJP leaders from Jammu, including BJP state president Ravindra Raina and two former deputy chief ministers of the party, Dr. Nirmal Singh and Kavinder Gupta, left for Delhi on Wednesday.
While talking to ABP News before leaving for Delhi, BJP state president Ravindra Raina attacked Mehbooba Mufti. Responding to Mehbooba Mufti’s statements, she said that talks cannot go together, bullets and speeches cannot go together. He said that talks with Pakistan can be done only when Pakistan establishes peace and brotherhood and all its secrets have closed terrorist camps.
Ravindra Raina said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is a party of patriots and it will emerge as a loud voice of the patriots. He thanked the PM that he has called all the political parties of Jammu and Kashmir together on one platform. He said that the PM has done the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir openly and with a big heart. He said that PM Modi loves Jammu and Kashmir with all his heart. The meeting convened on 24th is an important initiative.
At the same time, former Deputy Chief Minister of the state Kavinder Gupta said that he will discuss issues like delimitation, displacement of Kashmiri Pandits and Pakistani refugee with the Prime Minister. He said that the PM has called all the political parties, so the political future in the state will be decided. He said that former Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and some party presidents have been called in this meeting.
