Mumbai: Mumbai’s Sahar Police has busted a gang that used to cheat people in the name of getting jobs in Taj Company. The police have arrested 12 people in this case. More accused may be arrested.
Taj told the Sahar police in his complaint that his team had seen an advertisement on social media in which a company named Universal Group was claiming to get people jobs in Taj sets.
Taj also said that Taj has not assigned the responsibility to any outside agency to give jobs to the people. Those people themselves do the work of recruitment according to the need. After the complaint, Sahar police registered a case and arrested more than a dozen people i.e. 12 people.
Zone 8 DCP Manjunath Singe confirmed this information and said that we are doing further investigation. On the other hand, Universal Group’s lawyer Rakesh Singh told that this case is completely wrong, those who have been arrested by the police do not know who had put the advertisement using their name on social media.
