New Delhi: Christian missionaries are playing a very active role in the southern states of the country. The result of which is that in many states of South India, the news of religious conversion continues to come to the fore. Here the people of the Depressed Classes are adopting Christianity to get their life out of trouble and to take advantage of the benefits given by the missionaries.
Telangana CM K Chandrashekhar Rao has said that he is converting to Christianity because of the failure of the central and state government to protect the Hindu Dalit people. Along with this, he says that due to being a Dalit, he is being denied respect.
If Dalits are converting to Christianity, it’s our fault that we’re unable to protect them. When they convert to Christianity, they’re getting respect denied to them as Dalit.
