Delhi l South West Police has busted a gang and arrested 2 people, who are accused of cheating people by pretending to be CBI officers. According to the police, a person from Rajasthan, Zafaruddin, complained to the police that he had come to Delhi from Bharatpur on June 19 and had some work near Jama Masjid in Delhi. Zafaruddin took an auto from Dhaula Kuan bus stop to Jama Masjid. A person was already sitting in that auto as a ride. According to the complainant Zafaruddin, a person got into the auto after walking some distance. He introduced himself as a CBI officer and asked the auto driver to show RC and DL. Not only this, he also started checking the documents and belongings of the complainant and the other person sitting in the auto. During this investigation, a person who claimed to be a CBI officer took away Rs 50,000 from Zafaruddin’s bag. Zafaruddin did not even know about it. After getting off the auto, he realized that there was no money in his bag.
