Jammu: Kashmiri Pandits protest against PM Modi’s meeting, accuse him of using it as a political pawn
Jammu: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is meeting with various political parties of Jammu and Kashmir today to decide the political future of Jammu and Kashmir. But, just before this meeting, Kashmiri Pandits, who had suffered the brunt of terrorism about 30 years ago, have united against this meeting of the Prime Minister.
About 5 lakh Kashmiri Pandits, who had suffered the brunt of terrorism in Kashmir in the early 90s, have rallied against the Prime Minister’s meeting with various political parties of Jammu and Kashmir in Delhi today. The activists of All India Youth Kashmiri Samaj, an organization of Kashmiri Pandits, demonstrated against this meeting in Jammu and raised slogans fiercely. Kashmiri Pandits allege that for the past three decades, various political parties in Jammu and Kashmir have despised them and used them as political pawns.
