Ahead of the meeting of Kashmiri leaders with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, different reactions are being given by political parties to the statement of Peoples Democratic Party Chief Mehbooba Mufti on Pakistan. Talking to reporters, National Conference President Farooq Abdullah said that he is going to attend a meeting with Prime Minister Modi.
Farooq Abdullah said about Mehbooba Mufti’s statements on Pakistan- “There I will put demands and then talk to you. Mehbooba Mufti ji is the president of her party. He has been asked to speak. Why should I speak on that?”
Here, just before the meeting of leaders of Jammu and Kashmir with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi, BJP has targeted Mehbooba Mufti. Jammu and Kashmir BJP President Ravindra Raina said that talks with Pakistan can be possible only when Pakistan closes all the terror camps operating in it.
While talking to ABP News before leaving for Delhi, BJP state president Ravindra Raina attacked Mehbooba Mufti. Responding to Mehbooba Mufti’s statements, she said that talks cannot go together, bullets and speeches cannot go together. He said that talks with Pakistan can be done only when Pakistan establishes peace and brotherhood and all its secrets have closed terrorist camps.
What did Mehbooba say about Pakistan??
It is noteworthy that the meeting of the Gupkar Alliance was held after the invitation of the meeting with the Prime Minister. After this meeting, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti once again raised the rage of Pakistan. He said that the government should talk to Pakistan on the Kashmir issue.
Mehbooba Mufti said, ‘The rights which have been given to us by the Constitution, which have been taken away from us. Apart from that, there is also an issue in Jammu and Kashmir. The government is in talks with the Taliban in Doha. If peace is to be brought in J&K, then they should hold talks in J&K and also with Pakistan to resolve the issues. Apart from this, Mehbooba Mufti also demanded the release of Kashmiri leaders from the central government.
