New Delhi: According to the Union Health Ministry, more than 30 crore 33 lakh corona vaccine doses have been given to the states and union territories so far. Out of this, 28 crore 43 lakh doses have been given. At the same time, according to the central government, more than 1.89 crore vaccine doses are available. At the same time, more than 21 lakh vaccine doses will be given in the next three days.
So far more than 30 crore 33 lakh 27 thousand 440 vaccine doses have been given to the states and union territories by the Government of India through free channel and through direct state procurement category. Out of this, a total of 28 crore 43 lakh 40 thousand 936 doses including medical wastage have been given as per the available data till 8 am on Thursday. At the same time, 1 crore 89 lakh 86 thousand 504 doses of corona vaccine are available with the states which are to be given. Apart from this, according to the Union Health Ministry, more than 21 lakh 5 thousand 10 vaccine doses are in the pipeline and will be available to the states and union territories within the next 3 days.
In the new phase of the nationwide vaccination campaign, the central government will procure and supply 75 per cent of the vaccines being produced by the vaccine manufacturers in the country free of cost to the states and union territories. The central government has issued a new advisory for the vaccine, which is applicable from June 21.
So far, more than 30 crore corona vaccine doses have been given to people in India. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry, 30 crore 16 lakh 26 thousand 28 vaccine doses have been given, in which 24 crore 82 lakh 24 thousand 925 people have been given the first dose of vaccine and 5 crore 34 lakh 1 thousand 103 people in India. Both doses of the vaccine have been given.
