Prime Minister Narendra Modi held an all-party meeting with the leaders of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. During this meeting, which lasted for about one and a half hours, leaders of eight parties there attended. After this discussion in a positive atmosphere, different political parties have reacted to it.
Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said that about 80 percent of political parties discussed Article 370. But the matter is before the court. Our demands are restoration of full statehood, elections for restoration of democracy, return of Kashmiri Pandits, end of detention of all politicians, guarantee of land and employment.
On the other hand, Muzaffar Hussain Baig, leader of the People’s Democratic Party, said that the meeting was excellent. On Article 370, the PDP leader said- I said that the matter of Article 370 is in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court will decide on the matter of Article 370. I have not made any demand for Dhari 370.
Here, Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party leader Altaf Bukhari said that during the meeting, we have been assured about the roadmap for the elections. The PM also said that we are committed to restore full statehood.
During the meeting, National Conference’s Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah, Congress’s Ghulam Nabi Azad, Ghulam Ahmed Mir, Tarachand, PDP’s Mehbooba Mufti, BJP’s Nirmal Singh, Kavinder Gupta and Ravindra Raina, People’s Conference’s Muzaffar Baig and Sajjad Lone, Panthers Bhim Singh of the party, MY Tarigami of CPIM, Altaf Bukhari of JK Apni Party were involved. Along with this, Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha also joined.
