New Delhi: There is an outcry in the world due to Corona virus. New cases of corona virus have been reported everyday. Meanwhile, the head of the World Health Organization (WHO) has said that the ‘delta’ form of corona virus found for the first time in India is the most infectious type ever.
WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus warned that now this form is spreading in at least 85 countries. At the same time, the non-availability of vaccine in poor countries is proving helpful in the spread of delta form. After attending a meeting, he said that rich countries do not want to give vaccine to developing countries immediately. “They (poor countries) are disappointed because they don’t have vaccines,” he said. Ghebreyesus said, ‘If there is no vaccine, what will you share?’
At the same time, the World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that if the current trend continues, the most infectious type of Kovid-19 is expected to dominate over other forms of delta. This warning of WHO has come at a time when this form has been confirmed in 85 countries and cases are also being reported in other countries of the world.
Delta is more contagious
The WHO said that the delta has been found in 85 countries around the world. Cases continue to be reported in other countries of all regions under the WHO, in 11 of them in the last two weeks. The WHO said that the four currently worrying forms alpha, beta, gamma and delta are being closely monitored, which are widespread. The delta pattern is more contagious than the alpha pattern and is likely to become more dominant if the current trend continues.
