New DelhiCorona infection cases in India for the second time in the last five days, less than 50 thousand have been registered. According to the latest data of the Ministry of Health, 48,698 new corona cases were reported in the last 24 hours and 1183 infected people have lost their lives. Earlier on June 21, 42,640 cases had come. At the same time, 64,818 people have also been cured of corona in the last 24 hours i.e. 17,303 active cases were reduced yesterday.
The death rate from corona in the country is 1.31 percent while the recovery rate is around 97 percent. Active cases are around 2 percent. India ranks third in the world in terms of corona active cases. India also ranks second in terms of total number of infected. Whereas after America, Brazil has the highest death in the world.

For the 44th consecutive day in the country, there have been more recoveries than new cases of corona infection. Till June 25, 31 crore 50 lakh corona vaccine doses have been given across the country. 61 lakh 19 thousand vaccines were administered on the last day. At the same time, 40 crore corona tests have been done so far. About 17 lakh corona sample tests were done on the last day, whose positivity rate is more than 3 percent.
There were 51 cases of Delta Plus variant
The Central Government said on Friday, out of 45,000 genome samples so far in the country, 51 cases of delta plus variant of Kovid-19 have been reported in 12 states. Most of them 22 cases have come from Maharashtra. Nine cases of Delta Plus have been reported in Tamil Nadu, seven in Madhya Pradesh, three in Kerala, two each in Punjab and Gujarat, one each in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana and Karnataka.
90 percent of the cases of Kovid-19 in India are of B.1.617.2 (Delta) variant. Worrying COVID cases have been found in 174 districts of 35 states/UTs. Most of these cases have been found in Maharashtra, Delhi, Punjab, Telangana, West Bengal and Gujarat. The second wave of Kovid in India is not over yet, even now the rate of corona virus infection is more than 10 percent in 75 districts and between 5-10 percent in 92 districts.
