Mumbai: ED today summoned former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh for questioning. Earlier late night, Deshmukh’s PA Kundan Shinde and PS Sanjeev Palande were arrested by the ED. Sanjeev Palande has been working with big leaders for almost 20 years. This time he was working with Deshmukh as personal secretary.
In the month of March, Parambir Singh, former police commissioner of Mumbai Police, wrote a letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray complaining that he was getting the money recovered through former police officer Sachin Wajhe.

In his letter, Parambir Singh told that Deshmukh took the police officer to his official residence Dnyaneshwari meeting every month less than bars and hotels. He also said that Sachin Wajhe was protected by Deshmukh.

Money diverted in SAIL company
ED sources said that till now the statements of the owners have been recorded 10 times in this case, in which it has been found that these people have so far paid 4 crores. Collected money and sent it to Deshmukh’s PA and PS, after which that money was diverted to the cell company and then the money came back to the bank account of Deshmukh’s close friends. On June 24, the ED recorded the statement of Mumbai Police DCP Raju Bhujbal and then the raids started.
