New Delhi: Shivkumar Sharma (Kakka ji), the leader of the farmers’ movement in Delhi, was placed under house arrest in Bhopal today. Later, he along with some of his colleagues was allowed to go to the Raj Bhavan under the guard of the police and submit a memorandum to the Governor.
After giving the memorandum, Kakka ji said that it has been seven months since the farmers’ movement, if the government is thinking that we are tired, disappointed, frustrated, then they are in misunderstanding. We are neither tired nor have our enthusiasm waned. We have preparations till 2024. Our dharna and agitation will continue till the next Lok Sabha elections.
He said that at present the farmers’ movement is cold due to the corona epidemic, but this is our strategy. As soon as the pandemic subsides, our comrades will again surround Delhi with their tractor trolleys. In this movement, more than six hundred farmers have died, so we will not let their martyrdom go to waste.
In a special conversation with ABP News, Kakka ji said that in the West Bengal elections, we had formed Mission Bengal and told the public that this is an anti-farmer government, so leave BJP whoever wants to vote, we worked to defeat BJP. . Now the next target is Mission UP. In the coming days, our people will go to the districts and awaken the light against the BJP. Will work to defeat him. Because the government of farmers is not listening.
Kakka ji said that no talks have taken place since January. Agriculture Minister (Narendra Singh Tomar) Lakh say that we are ready for talks, our doors are open, but do not tell the address of which door is that. Our agitation will continue till the three anti-farmer bills are not returned. It will accelerate in the coming days.
