Vaccination of more than 2 lakh people in Delhi, more than 1.5 lakh people got vaccine for 3 consecutive days
New Delhi: On Saturday 26 June, the record vaccination so far was recorded in Delhi. Giving information by tweeting, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia wrote that ‘Delhi has vaccinated 2,05,170 people on Saturday, breaking all the old records. For the last 3 days, more than 1.5 lakh people are being vaccinated continuously. The Delhi government is rapidly trying to protect people from a possible third wave by vaccinating them.’
Earlier on Friday, 1.66 lakh people were vaccinated in Delhi. On Thursday, 1.56 lakh people were vaccinated. The special thing is that most of the vaccine doses are being administered to the youth. Aam Aadmi Party leader Atishi demanded from the central government that about 1.5 lakh vaccines are being administered daily in Delhi. Accordingly, the central government should give at least 45 lakh doses in July. The maximum doses of 1,66,209 vaccines have been applied in Delhi on June 25. Out of which 1,34,505 doses have been administered to the youth.
