Patna: Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) is continuously protesting against the continuous increase in the prices of petrol and diesel. Party workers took to the streets in Patna regarding this issue and raised slogans against the government by riding bikes on foot. When the police-administration tried to stop them during this, they set many of their vehicles on fire. During this, the general secretary and state president of the party fiercely targeted the central and state government. He accused the central government of raising oil prices for the benefit of industrialists.
Angry workers set their vehicles on fire
In fact, the motorcycle march, which started from Patna’s Gandhi Maidan, Subhash Chandra Bose Golambara, was to go to Dankbangla, but the administration stopped the march at JP Golumber near Hotel Maurya. Angered by this, the activists set their private two-wheelers on fire in protest.
Party’s general secretary said – the policies of the center are wrong
Addressing the protest, Jan Adhikar Party’s national general secretary Premchand Singh blamed the wrong policies of the Center for the rising prices of petrol and diesel. He said that, “Petrol prices have crossed Rs 100 per liter mark in many parts of the country and diesel prices are on the verge of going up to Rs 100 per litre. This has caused outrage among the general public. Jan Adhikar Party will go from village to village and protest against inflation.
The Jaap general secretary said that on the instructions of the party’s national president Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav, a demonstration was held against the increase in the prices of petrol and diesel. He said that due to the wrong policies of the Center, the prices of everyday items including rice, pulses, flour, oil, medicine, vegetables are skyrocketing, due to which the general public is getting upset.
State President said – Government is working for the profits of industrialists
Jaap’s state president Raghavendra Singh Kushwaha, while addressing the protest march on a motorcycle, said that the central government is increasing the price of oil for the benefit of industrialists. Our agitation will continue till the government does not withdraw the increased prices. A large number of party workers were present during this.
