New Delhi: A positive news has come amidst the ongoing Corona vaccine program in the country. The trial of Zydus Cadila’s vaccine is almost complete. Children between the ages of 12 and 18 can start getting this vaccine in late July or August. Dr NK Arora, chairman of the Kovid Working Group, gave this information. He said that in the coming time, our target is to administer one crore vaccine doses daily.
Dr NK Arora said, “ICMR has come out with a study which says that the third wave is likely to be late. We have 6-8 months to vaccinate everyone in the country. In the coming days, we aim to give 1 crore doses every day.”

Yesterday the Center gave information to the Supreme Court
On Saturday, the central government said in an affidavit regarding the status of providing the vaccine, that Zydus Cadila, which is developing a DNA vaccine, has completed clinical trials on the age group of 12 to 18 years and after getting statutory approval, this vaccine will be available in the near future. May be available for 12 to 18 year olds. In the affidavit, the government also said that the vaccine would be available to vaccinate the eligible population of the country.

According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry till 7 pm on 26 June, 32 crore 11 lakh 43 thousand 649 vaccine doses have been given, out of which 1,01,94,464 have been given to healthcare workers first and 71,99,161 to healthcare workers. The second dose has been given.
While 1,74,34,064 frontline workers have been given the first dose and 93,75,103 the second dose. 8,67,88,297 people in the age group of 45 to 59 years have been given the first and 1,45,99,454 people have been given the second dose of corona vaccine.
In the age group of 18 to 44 years, 8,30,23,693 people have received the first dose and 18,48,754 people have received the second dose of the vaccine. 6,74,03,566 people above 60 years of age have been given the first and 2,32,77,093 second doses.
