Mumbai: Concern has increased in front of the health department after 21 cases of Delta Plus variant were reported in Maharashtra. Delta infection has been reported to spread more rapidly, especially in people who have not taken the vaccine dose. In Maharashtra, one patient has died due to the Delta Plus variant.

According to the information, out of 21 people in whom Delta Plus variant infection has been found so far, only one person had administered the first dose of the vaccine. Dr Pradeep Amte, Statistics Officer, Maharashtra Health Department told ABP News that out of 21 patients, only one patient has received the first dose of the vaccine. Also, 4 of these patients are below 18 years of age. The health department is keeping an eye on everyone’s health. At the moment there is no such situation as panic.
