Corona virus continues to wreak havoc in India. The second wave of Corona caused huge destruction in the country. Millions of people lost their lives during this. Health experts are now anticipating the arrival of a third wave of corona. Recently, the Delta Plus variant of Kovid-19 has been confirmed in the country. According to health experts, there are four more such variants, due to which the risk of infection has increased significantly.
According to a report in Times of India, 4 other Kovid-19 variants are being closely monitored in India. This includes the B.1.617.3 variant, (B.1.617.2), variant, B.1.1.318 variant, lambda (C.37) and kappa variant (B.1.617.1). However, experts believe that all these four Kovid-19 variants are not so effective as compared to the Delta or Delta Plus variants.
Two Kovid-19 variants already present in the country
There are already B.1.617.3 and B.1.1.318 variants of Kovid-19 in the country. Experts have expressed concern that all these variants may enter the country through international travel. If it is not investigated in time, then the situation may get out of control in the coming time.
The Public Health England gave this big information
Significantly, the first case of double mutant B.1.617 of Kovid-19 was found in Maharashtra. After this three more variants were confirmed. The World Health Organization (WHO) has named B.1.617.1 as the kappa variant and B.1617.2 as the delta variant. At the same time, The Public Health England (PHE) said that the lambda variant is being closely monitored. This Kovid-19 variant has been found in many countries.
