Interestingly, Facebook had earlier requested for online meeting of the committee when called by the Standing Committee. Facebook argued that the company’s policy during the Corona period is that its representatives do not participate in any such meeting in which they have to be present physically. He had suggested to have the meeting of the committee online. However, the committee rejected Facebook’s demand. However, the committee did propose to get the Facebook representatives vaccinated so that they could take part in the meeting physically.
