The work of vaccination is progressing at a fast pace across the country. Meanwhile, the central government is going to start a new initiative. To speed up the pace of vaccination, the central government will give more vaccines to the states in July. According to reports, the government will give 12 crore vaccination doses to the states and union territories. These 120 million doses will include 100 million shots of Covishield and 20 million shots of Covaccine. However, the question is being raised from such government figures that how the target of making the country fully vaccinated by December 2021 will be fulfilled.
The state and union territories will be asked by the government to intensify the vaccination campaign. Government reports say that between June 21 and June 27, an average of more than 0.6 crore doses have been given in the country every day. At the same time, 10.6 crore doses have been given to the people in the month of June.
Health Ministry gave this big information
Giving information in this matter, the Ministry of Health said, “Knowing when and how much of the vaccine dose will be given helps in making the strategy of vaccination. With this, the government decides where to spend how much vaccine.” The Center has prepared a method to calculate the dose of vaccine to be given to the states, which includes the proportionate population of the age group of 18 years and above.
Rajasthan government wrote a letter to the center
Explain that the states have demanded more vaccines from the Center. The Rajasthan government has written a letter to the Modi government for this, in which it has been said that now there is a shortage of vaccine in the state. To speed up the vaccination campaign, there is a need for a vaccine. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot wrote in a letter to PM Modi, “More than 70 lakh people are to be given a second dose by the end of July 2021.”
