New Delhi: India has got another ‘weapon’ in the fight against Corona. Moderna’s Kovid-19 vaccine has been approved for limited emergency use by the Drugs Regulator of India (DCGI) today. With the approval of Moderna, four corona vaccines have been allowed in India so far. NITI Aayog member Dr VK Paul said that India will take two doses of Moderna.

A total of 8,75,67,172 people in the 18-44 age group have received the first dose and 19,94,410 people have received the second dose since the start of the third phase of the nationwide immunization campaign.
The ministry said that Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal have increased the age group of 18-44. Has given the first dose of vaccine to more than 10 lakh beneficiaries.
