New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party President JP Nadda held a meeting of the State Working Committee on Tuesday with the leaders of West Bengal through video conferencing. During the meeting, JP Nadda targeted Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for the post-poll violence in the state. He said that organized violence was witnessed in Bengal after the elections even though there is a woman chief minister. it’s embarrassing.
JP Nadda said that where TMC was there, there was violence in the elections. Most atrocities have happened on women in West Bengal. He said that the Bengal police has been a mute spectator. Nothing could be more shameful than this. He said that the BJP will defeat the “bad mentality” of the Trinamool Congress in a democratic way.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, we came after winning 2 seats and got 18 per cent votes. He said that in the 2016 assembly elections, BJP got only 3 seats and our vote percentage was 10.16 percent. In 2019, we got 40.25 per cent votes and got 18 seats out of 42.
