New Delhi: After battling the second wave of the corona epidemic, the situation in India has started returning to normal. For the third consecutive day, less than 50 thousand corona cases have been registered and the death toll has also come down. According to the latest data of the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours 45,951 new corona cases came and 817 infected people have lost their lives. Earlier on Monday there were 46,148 corona cases and on Tuesday 37,566 corona cases. At the same time, 60,729 people have also been cured of corona in the last 24 hours, that is, 15,595 active cases have been reduced yesterday.

For the 48th consecutive day in the country, there have been more recoveries than new cases of corona infection. Till June 29, 33 crore 28 lakh corona vaccine doses have been given across the country. On the last day 36.51 lakh vaccines were administered. At the same time, 41 crore corona tests have been done so far. About 19 lakh corona sample tests were done on the last day, whose positivity rate is more than 3 percent.
The death rate from corona in the country is 1.31 percent while the recovery rate is around 97 percent. Active cases are less than 2 percent. India ranks third in the world in terms of corona active cases. India also ranks second in terms of total number of infected. Whereas after America, Brazil has the highest death in the world.
More than 100 cases of Kovid arrived in Delhi after 3 days
The capital saw a slight increase in the number of new cases of Kovid infection on Tuesday. 101 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours. After three days, more than a hundred cases of Kovid came in a day. The lowest number of the year was recorded at 59 on Monday, but one day the figure again crossed 100. 85 new cases were reported in the national capital on Sunday and 89 on Saturday. 115 Kovid cases were registered on Friday.
Meanwhile, four people died due to Kovid in Delhi in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of deaths in the national capital to 24,971. There are currently 1,531 active cases in Delhi, which is the lowest since March 1. The infection rate of the city is 0.15 percent, while the recovery rate is 98.15 percent.
