A BJP worker said, “We were welcoming our leader and then some people came and they had iron sticks etc. in their hands. They started vandalizing and beating vehicles. They have vandalized about 70 to 80 vehicles. BJP’s Ranita Singh Metropolitan Vice President said, “We stood peacefully to welcome BJP leader Amit Valmiki. At the same time, Tikait’s supporters came with weapons and beat up our sisters, due to which many women have been injured.

On the other hand, the farmers allege that some BJP workers were raising slogans against the farmers when they reached the agitation site, when there was a fight between the farmers and them. Bharatiya Kisan Union’s Uttar Pradesh President Rajveer Singh Jadaun said, some BJP workers were reaching the agitation site with flags. At the same time, there was a fight between the farmers, we will give a complaint about this incident to the police. We are attacked and we do not complain, it cannot happen.
