New Delhi: NIA has arrested two terrorists of terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba in the bomb blast case at Darbhanga station in Bihar. Their names have been given as Imran Malik and Mohammad Nasir Khan. In both of these relationships, brothers have been told Originally both are residents of Shamli district of Uttar Pradesh but were currently residing in Nampally district of Hyderabad.
A top NIA official said that the case was registered at Darbhanga railway station in Bihar. . It is alleged that on June 17, 2021, a parcel had arrived in the Secunderabad Darbhanga Express and there was an explosion in this parcel. On 24 June 2021, the NIA started the investigation of this case.
NIA team reached the spot and collected important clues and due to the investigation of these clues, the NIA team came to know about these two accused. Based on the information, both of them were arrested today from Hyderabad.
During preliminary interrogation, it was revealed that both of them were associated with the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba and on the behest of their masters, they had made a big deal. The bomb was detonated with the aim of causing massive damage and spreading panic. According to the NIA officer, the arrested Mohammad Nasir Khan had also gone to Pakistan in the year 2012, where he had also taken training in making IEDs in terror camps.
Terror masters gave him this training easily locally. But it was given on the basis of how the IED is made through the available chemicals. During interrogation, it was found that these people made an IED on the basis of their training and got a parcel booked from Secunderabad. The parcel was booked in a long distance train so that these people could not be easily traced. This IED was kept in the middle of the luggage in the parcel. These people were confident that the explosion of this IED would cause massive damage and spread panic as their masters wanted.
Imran arrested in this case is said to be the brother of the second accused. Both of them He was in touch with his handlers of Lashkar-e-Taiba sitting in Pakistan and was constantly taking directions from them. According to a top NIA official, both of them are originally from Uttar Pradesh but after coming in contact with Lashkar-e-Taiba, both of them were currently living in Hyderabad.
Both the accused are on remand. Inquiries are being made about from where these people had bought the goods for the blast and who are the people of their modules in different parts of the country. Also, how the Lashkar network is getting its work done with these people, the investigation is going on.
