New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with the beneficiaries of various schemes of Digital India on Thursday. On July 1, six years of this important initiative of the government are being completed.
The Digital India initiative was launched with the aim of transforming India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The program to be held on April 1 will begin with the inaugural address of Union Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.

In a statement, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology said, “A video presentation will be made about the important achievements of Digital India in the program.
