Dr Randeep Guleria said, ‘We do not have much data yet to tell how contagious the delt plus variant is. More data is needed for the study. It can be a bit more side-effect. But before saying anything, we need more data.

At the same time, the World Health Organization (WHO) has said that according to an estimate, cases of delta variants of Kovid have now been reported in about 100 countries. Along with this, he warned that in the coming months this highly contagious form will become the most dominant form of corona virus in the whole world.
The WHO, sharing the data in the ‘Kovid-19 Weekly Epidemiological Update’, said that as of 29 June 2021, cases of delta variants have been reported in ’96 countries and it is possible that the actual figures are higher because of the genome series capabilities to detect the virus. are also limited. Many of these countries have said that due to the delta variant, cases of infection are increasing in them and the number of hospitalized patients is also increasing.
