Something similar has happened in Thane Municipal Corporation of Maharashtra. Here a person named Chandrashekhar was called from the Thane Municipal Corporation to take the death certificate.
According to news agency ANI, Chandrashekhar told- I got a call from Thane Municipal Corporation to take the death certificate.
However, Thane Municipal Corporation termed it as a technical glitch. Thane Municipal Corporation Deputy Commissioner said- We did not prepare this list and got it from Pune office. It was a technical glitch due to which his name came in the list of death. We have instructed the team to first verify the list and only then call people about it.

At least 959 children have lost one of their parents due to Kovid-19 in Thane district of Maharashtra. District Magistrate Rajesh Narvekar gave this information on Thursday. He said that 29 children have lost both their parents. He said that these children would be eligible to get financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh along with interest on attaining the age of 21 years.
Narvekar said that these 959 children whose parents have died due to Kovid-19 will get an assistance amount of Rs 1,125 under the scheme. According to the district officials, a total of 669 women have lost their husbands in the pandemic and they are eligible to take the benefit of Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Yojana.
After 534 more people were found infected with the corona virus in Thane district of Maharashtra, the number of epidemic cases increased to 5,32,533. An official said on Thursday that apart from these new cases that came to light on Wednesday, 20 people lost their lives due to this infection. With this, the death toll in the district has reached 10,699.
The death rate from Kovid-19 in Thane is two percent. The district administration has not provided the information of the patients who have recovered and are under treatment. Another official said that in neighboring Palghar district, the cases of Kovid-19 increased to 1,16,706 while the death toll stood at 2,575.
