New Delhi: Four more patients infected with the corona virus died in Delhi on Thursday, while 91 new cases of infection were reported and the infection rate was 0.12 percent. This information has been given in the bulletin issued by the Health Department. The infection rate in the national capital was also 0.12 percent on Wednesday and 94 new cases were reported while six patients died.
The death toll in Delhi is 24,981
According to the bulletin, 111 patients have been cured in the last 24 hours and the number of cured patients is more than the new cases. 101 new cases were registered in Delhi on Tuesday. With the new cases, the total number of infected people in Delhi increased to 14,34,281 while the death toll rose to 24,981. According to the bulletin, the death rate in Delhi is 1.74 percent.
In Delhi, the infection rate had reached 36 percent in the last week of April and now it is below 0.20 percent. At that time, Delhi was battling the second severe wave of the epidemic in which a large number of people died. A total of 76,468 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, while the number of patients under treatment came down to 1,357 from 1,379 on Wednesday. So far 14,07,943 patients have been cured in Delhi.
1,46,161 people vaccinated in last 24 hours
It has been said in the bulletin that the number of patients living in isolation in homes has come down to 314 from 329 a day ago. The number of prohibited areas also came down from 1,599 to 1,349. It states that out of 17,670 beds of Kovid patients in various hospitals in the city, there are 937 patients. Meanwhile, 1,46,161 people were vaccinated in the last 24 hours. Of these, 24,392 people were given a second dose. In the national capital, about 79,00,147 beneficiaries have been vaccinated so far in which 18,05,761 people have been given both doses.
