In view of the increasing cases in 6 states, the Union Health Ministry has sent a high level multi-disciplinary team which will help these states in the control and prevention measures of corona. These states are Kerala, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Manipur where new cases of corona are being reported more.
In view of the increasing number of corona cases being reported by these states, the Center today sent multi-disciplinary teams to Kerala, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Manipur with immediate effect. The high level multi-disciplinary team sent to these states will consist of two people, one doctor and one public health expert.
This team will help to deal with Corona
The team going to Manipur will be led by Director EMR Dr. L. Swasticharan.
– Arunachal Pradesh team will be led by Dr. Sanjay Sadhukhan, Professor AIIH&PH
– Dr. RN Sinha, Director Professor, AIIH&PH for Tripura
– Dr. Ruchi Jain, Public Health Specialist for Kerala
– Dr. A. Dan, Public Health Specialist AIIH&PH for Odisha
– Dr. Dibakar Sahu, Assistant Professor, AIIMS Raipur for Chhattisgarh.
These teams will help the states in corona management and to deal effectively with the epidemic. The teams will immediately visit the states and cover COVID-19 management, especially testing, surveillance and control. Apart from this, following Kovid Appropriate Behavior. Along with this, availability of beds in hospitals, adequate supplies including ambulances, ventilators, medical oxygen, etc. and COVID-19 vaccination have to be implemented rapidly.
