New Delhi: August Kranti Rajdhani Express running between Mumbai Central to Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station will return on track from Saturday i.e. today. While announcing this recently, Indian Railways said that the train service is being restored keeping in mind the travel needs and convenience of the passengers. The return train from Hazrat Nizamuddin to Mumbai Central will start running from Sunday i.e. 4th July.
Hazrat Nizamuddin-Mumbai Central August Kranti Rajdhani Express Special will start tomorrow
According to a press release issued by Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer, Western Railway, Mumbai Central – Hazrat Nizamuddin August Kranti Rajdhani Express Special (Train No: 02953) will be restored from 3rd July. Similarly, Hazrat Nizamuddin-Mumbai Central August Kranti Rajdhani Express Special (Train No: 02954) will be restored from July 4.
Passengers urged to follow COVID-19 protocol
Railway passengers have also been requested to ensure that they are safe while boarding the train and during their journey till they reach their destination. Follow all protocols related to -19. This includes following the rules of social distancing and following the SOP issued by the Union Ministry of Railways.
Railways is gradually restarting trains after a reduction in infection cases
It is worth noting that all the regular passenger train services of Indian Railways were started nationwide in March last year due to COVID-19. -19 was suspended after implementing the lockdown. After the reduction in Kovid-19 cases in the country, the Railways is gradually restoring its special train service from May this year.
