RT-PCR negative test has been made mandatory for all tourists visiting Ladakh. All the people coming by road and air will be required to bring the test done before 96 hours. This has been done again in view of the increasing cases of corona in Ladakh. Earlier, after the reduction in corona cases, the facility of ‘Test on Arrival’ was also kept, but now all tourists will be allowed to enter Ladakh only after bringing negative test reports. This rule will be applicable to those coming by both road and air.
While issuing an alert about this, the Ladakh Tourism Department said that all those who come without a test will be returned immediately. Those coming positive will be sent on quarantine at their own expense.
Let us tell you, 21 new cases have been recorded in Ladakh in the last 24 hours, of which 30 percent were people coming from outside. On Friday, 32 people have also been cured.
