Mumbai: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) last day released the list of centers that will provide the Kovidshield Kovid-19 vaccine to health workers, front line works and people in the age group of 18 years and above in Mumbai.
This information has been shared a day after the civic body was criticized for suspending vaccination drives at civic and government-run centers on Thursday due to lack of vaccine.
Vaccination campaign will resume after getting the stock of vaccine
Issuing a statement, the BMC said that the vaccination campaign will resume after getting the fresh stock of vaccines. He said that on the basis of the stock of vaccine, the people of Mumbai have been continuously informed about vaccination and appropriate decisions are taken.

There are 399 active COVID-19 vaccination centers in the city
According to the data released by BMC, so far 54,67,805 citizens have been vaccinated in the city. Out of these 10,83,266 beneficiaries have been given second dose. At the same time, there are 399 active COVID-19 vaccination centers in the city out of which 281 are operated by BMC.
