LucknowAam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh suddenly reached the office of Samajwadi Party in Lucknow today. Here he met former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. After this news, the political stir in UP has intensified. It is being speculated whether there can be an alliance of Aam-SP for the upcoming assembly elections.
A day earlier, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati had said that it is the helplessness of the Samajwadi Party that it will fight the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh with smaller parties. He said that the Samajwadi Party is compelled to do this because most of the big and major parties of the country think it better to avoid them in the elections.
Mayawati wrote in the tweet, ‘Due to the bitter experiences of Samajwadi Party’s very selfish, narrow and especially anti-Dalit thinking and working style etc. Which is well known.’
In fact, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has categorically refused an alliance with any major political party in the 2022 assembly elections. He had said some time ago that the Samajwadi Party will enter the election fray along with smaller parties.
