New Delhi: Delhi is slowly being unlocked. After opening shopping malls and markets, the Delhi government has allowed the reopening of stadiums and sports complexes from Monday under the sixth phase of unlock. Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has issued an order regarding this today.
Most activities have been allowed in Delhi in a phased manner but spas, cinema halls, theaters and multiplexes are still closed. Along with this, the swimming pool has also not been allowed to reopen.
Stadiums and sports complexes will open without spectators
The Delhi government said in a statement that “In an order issued by DDMA, cinema halls, theatres, multiplexes, banquet halls, social or political gatherings, swimming pools, schools, colleges, spas and amusement parks are not allowed to open in Delhi and the entire NCT of Delhi.” Stadiums and sports complexes have been allowed to open without spectators.
Positivity rate 0.11 percent in Delhi
According to the Daily Health Bulletin released by the Delhi government on Saturday, 86 new cases of corona infection and five deaths occurred in the national capital in the last 24 hours. The daily Kovid positivity rate is 0.11 percent. A total of 106 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. Due to which the total number of people recovering in the national capital increased to 14,08,456.
Death toll from Corona reached close to 25 thousand
After the deaths reported on Saturday, the death toll from Corona in Delhi reached close to 25,000. There have been a total of 24,989 deaths in Delhi. At the same time, a total of 76,619 Kovid tests were done in 24 hours, in which 54,103 tests were done through RT-PCR and 22,516 through rapid antigen. There were 1,016 active cases in Delhi on Saturday.
