It has also been said in this petition that CBSE has collected crores of rupees from the students in the name of examination. Since the examinations have been cancelled, it is not justified to keep this amount to CBSE.

Social activist and advocate Deepa Joseph has filed a rich petition demanding the refund of the fee. She is the mother of a child who appeared for class 10th board exams. He has said that he deposited Rs 2100 in CBSE for the examination of 7 subjects. But on April 14, CBSE canceled the examinations in view of the corona epidemic. Also said that the result has not been released yet. Along with this, it has been said in the petition that in the month of June, CBSE also canceled the 12th class examinations. Apart from CBSE, the Union Education Ministry has also been made a party in the petition.
Joseph has said in the petition that CBSE has taken money from lakhs of students as fees for conducting examinations, in such a situation, when the examinations have been canceled, there is no cost to CBSE, in such a situation the fee should be refunded. . Because the money that is taken is spent on the examination center, copy inspector etc. But the examination did not take place, so not a single penny was spent on these things. So parents should return the money. The petition is likely to be heard on Monday. Similar demand has also been made by All India Parent Association.

Last year on November 17, 2020, the Supreme Court dismissed a petition seeking a direction to CBSE and the Delhi government to waive off the examination fees of class 10th and 12th students in the subsequent academic year in view of COVID-19 and financial problems of some parents. Had given.
